Joyce Maina confirmed as speaker & panellist

Women in Tea and Coffee is pleased to announce Joyce Maina will be joining us as a speaker and a panellist at the 2026 edition of our conference!

Joyce’s career in tea began serendipitously in the 1990s when she joined Brooke Bond as a graduate trainee in Kenya. Having never heard of tea as a career path, she was impressed by the passion that the tasters and tea buyers who interviewed her showed and decided to give it a go. To be fair, the suggestion that the job would take her to many tea growing countries around the world helped sell it.
